Advertising on Google is really cheap, really easy and very effective.


It is the fastest, easiest, cheapest way of finding new customers.

Google earns billions of dollars every year from their advertisers and we all pay them happily because we get positive returns on our advertising spend.

People search Google daily for things they need to buy and they frequently end up buying those things from the suppliers that they find on Google.

Fortunately for you (and us and all other businesses), Google Adwords will instantly put you at the top of the search results.

Getting listed is very quick and surprisingly cheap.

How does it all work?

  1. We set up your ad campaign:
     
    • We tell Google which search phrases are relevant to your business and that you would like your advert to appear in their search results for those phrases.
       
  2. People search Google and you appear in the search results:
     
    • When people search Google using phrases that are the same as the ones you have specified, or phrases that are similar to the ones you have specified, your advert will appear in the "Sponsored Search Results" which appear at the top of the page and down the right hand side of the page.
       
  3. People click on your ads and hopefully decide to buy from you:
     
    • If someone clicks on your advert they are taken to your website and Google charges for the click. The cost of a click varies depending on the number of people advertising for that particular search phrase. We will place a "maximum cost per click" bid on your account per search phrase. Google then takes into account all the other people bidding on that search phrase and places their adverts in the search results with the highest bidder at the top and they charge you an amount (per click) that is usually about 85% of the amount that you bid for the search phrase. You are probably looking at between R1 and R5 per click.
       
  4. Daily budgets:
     
    • Google allows you to set a maximum daily spend. Once you have spent your budget for the day Google stops displaying your adverts until the following day. IE if you were paying R2.50 per click and had a daily budget of R30, Google would show your advert until you had received 8 clicks in a particular day and would then stop showing your advert until the next day. This ensures that you never spend more than you are willing to spend. (A daily budget or R30 per day is a good amount to start with)
       
  5. Advert copywriting:
     
    • You advert/s will be cleverly worded so that people can easily see from the advert whether your business offering matches what they are looking for. This way you minimise the number of irrelevant clicks on your advert and hence minimise your costs. (we help with this, for example an Exclusive Bed and Breakfast in Sandton might have an advert that says something like "Executive B&B in Sandton, Central Location, Restaurant, Pool, Priced from R650 per room per night")
       

What will we do for you and what will we charge you?

Google advertising campaigns usually start running with just a few core elements. They can be developed to become very large and multifaceted, but return on investment is the key element here so we always start with the absolute basics.

To get you started we provide a "Starter pack" which costs R1300 setup and management fee and R900 Google Click Fees. This includes the following:
  1. Creation of one Adwords campaign
  2. Creation of one Adwords “Ad Group”
  3. Loading of approximately 50 search phrases for which you wish to appear in the search results
  4. Creation of an Ad to match your search phrases
  5. Setting your daily budget and click bids
  6. Setting up a google adwords conversion tracker wherever possible to help us track sales leads / enquiries / sales
  7. Setting up automated weekly reports that we can use to monitor the performance of your campaign
  8. Three reviews of the campaign performance over a period of one month and various adjustments as required
Will I ever be locked into a contract?
NO. You will NOT be asked to sign a contract. If you want to stop at any point you can simply tell us to stop the campaign at any time and your costs will stop immediately.

Ongoing costs
Most people spend a total of about R1500 per month after their first month however this can vary depending on the profitability of the campaign and the amount of money you wish to invest in it on an ongoing basis.

Is it effective?
Absolutely! If you were looking for something and you searched for it on Google and found it then you would probably buy it, correct? There is no difference between your business and the other businesses already advertising on Google (and there are millions of them). It works for them and it should work for you too.

Advertising on Google works for all businesses from small home businesses to massive corporations.
