Email marketing important for businesses | | 2009/12/04 | | Businesses with an online presence should use email marketing to drive customers to their site, according to an expert.
Tschanen Brandberry, managing editor of Motor Age, has explored the benefits of using web-only offers along with email marketing to promote a company's services.
Writing on Searchautoparts.com, Ms Brandberry advised businesses to collect email addresses from clients and explain that monthly emails are sent with service information and specials available only through the site.
"But the web-only specials are key. If your shop promotes specials like this and already has a website, it won't cost much if anything to add a printable coupon for services you already plan on offering," Ms Brandberry wrote.
When using email marketing to increase the number of visitors to a site, email monitoring services will ensure emails are sent successfully.
As such marketing strategies are used to drive traffic it is also important website monitoring services are used so customers directed to a site do not experience any site downtime.
