The new tool created by InfoGenius can also be used as marketing device as web hosts will be able to use the certificated of reliability as a marketing device.
The recently launched UptimeSafe certification application means web hosts and data centre operators can independently audit their network reliability.
"Our service benefits both service providers and their perspective buyers alike," InfoGenius president Pedro Pequeno said .
"UptimeSafe allows quality service providers to effectively differentiate themselves as reliability leaders. On the same token, buyers seeking a reliable provider can now easily identify them," he added.
The software monitors a cross-section of an organisations network 24-hours-a-day, gauging both uptime and recovery times.
