Website load tester released | | 2009/03/03 | |
A new piece of website load testing software has been released, allowing business to check that their web address can handle substantial amounts of traffic.
The Monitis WebLoadTester is available online as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product - it gathers data from "multiple nodes" before issuing reports to the user.
From the subsequent figures which are produced, website administrators can analyse their performance statistics and success rate of their address during the testing.
Graphically-illustrated reports are emailed to the customer, who can then consider a comprehensive picture of their website's performance.
Hovhannes Avoyan, chief executive of Monitis, said that website monitoring services are now essential in the modern era.
He commented: "Our new service will enable not only monitor performance, but proactively generate load and perform performance analysis."
While the company advised in a statement: "Website monitoring helps businesses stay competitive in today's online world." |
