Well-distributed articles can be internet marketers' tool | | 2008/06/02 | | Well-written and well-distributed articles can be a valuable tool for businesses setting out to market their products via the web, according to one expert.
Internet marketing specialist Corissa Malone has highlighted the importance of providing potential buyers with meaningful content relating to a product.
She advised: "Write articles that offer good content and distribute to ezine publishers and article directories. The Internet makes it a whole lot easier to get your articles distributed and noticed."
In other guidance, she told aspiring internet marketers to supply prospective customers with information on products instead of just issuing a sales pitch, giving them the pointers needed to make a decision.
According to the latest Internet Advertising Bureau statistics relating to the UK's internet advertising expenditure, display advertising spend experienced a 31 per cent year-on-year increase.
